Ormeau man numbed by win
A sixty-something year old Ormeau man said he felt numb when he saw he had all six winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto.
“I checked the numbers and just felt numb,” he said.
“I got a family member to come around to check it to make sure I hadn’t made a mistake.”
The man said he had a sleepless night thinking about his good fortune.
“I went to bed early but I probably only got about ten minutes sleep. My mind was racing,” he said.
He said he’s planning to put his $809,692.85 prize in the bank and live off the interest.
He purchased his winning ticket from Norfolk News in Ormeau. The same outlet sold a $15 million winning Powerball ticket in April.
